It has been a miraculous year with lots of ups and little downs and how was it? Spectacular! I am not going to write about my downs as I do not wish to remember it...
Before marriage, I got to spend three weeks at Chennai home with my family and had the pleasure of meeting all my near and dear ones, and then i got married and my husband fulfilled my long desired dream to go to Salzburg. Then I came to Chicago and got married in Cityhall. One heart in Chicago and one heart in Austin found four homes together - 1 in Austin, 1 in Austin airport, 1 in Chicago and 1 in Chicago airport. Then had fun with my brother's family and parents in Wilmingon beach and then in Smoky mountains. Then had an amazing time with my parents on july 4th weekend when they had come over to Austin. My better half (did i really say that? I must be over my head!!) and I explored different restaurants and had an excellent meal in Charlotte's Copper restaurant. I quit my job before my mmmm 18th bday :P and became an house wife. Then went to India and had a great time spending two weeks with in-laws. The whole year was F-U-N!!
About me and my husband, it has been one heck of a ride.....

- He coming to Chicago on a monday night to welcome me to United States and staying there for a week to find a comfortable place for me to stay in,
- Spending birthdays together (I got a watch and a big box of m&ms saying "Happy Birthday Awesome Priya")
- 2 months of up and down trips
- 6 to 7 trips to Oklahoma casino ( one way 4 hours)
- Disney world Orlando

- Watching casablanca in a old fashioned movie theater sharing a popcorn
- Enjoying parks, boat rides on the lake
- Getting all the wanted and unwanted stuff from the mall
- Driving all over the city to watch christmas lights
- Watching various movies ranging from animation to science fiction
- Getting lot of gifts from my husband by claiming that in the first year of marriage, every month is a "monthessary" ...lets see what I got -some roses, some dinners in various different places...the best one being Melting Pot, getting a CHI hair straightener, getting some dresses, getting hypnotic senses perfume, one breakfast in bed, swaroski crystal earrings...
Well really it has been a good year!! After all my husband got me 4 perfumes last year only :P
I hope this year would be as great as last year was...hoping to that...I wish you all Happy new year and may your perfume count increase too :)
